Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Surgery Operating Room position in Iowa, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS certification.
Details
- Position is based in an Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
- Specialty focus is neurosurgery cases
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
- On-call requirement of approximately 10–12 days per month
- Every 3rd weekend on call
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Iowa (IA) or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted for this position; a local pay rate is available for Iowa-based candidates
- ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications may be relevant depending on assignment scope
- License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date
