Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Children's Hospital.
Details
- Pediatric cardiac sonography unit within a Level I Trauma, academic teaching children's hospital with 554 staffed beds
- Outpatient setting with 3 rooms
- Cases require crash cart readiness, scrubbing, and aseptic technique
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No floating outside of scope required
- Charting via Cerner
- Free parking on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience required
- ARDMS or CCI certification required
- Current BLS required
- Proficiency in crash cart protocols, scrubbing, and aseptic technique
- Cerner EMR experience beneficial
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider for medical exemptions
- License required if applicable
- Pending state license accepted

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark at this facility must take a 6-month break before returning
- RTO requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval; all scheduling requests should be submitted upfront
