Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and pediatric experience for a day shift travel assignment in a hospital NICU setting.
Details
- NICU unit within an academic hospital setting
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
- Floating is required
- Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in NICU
- NICU and pediatric experience required
- Missouri (MO) or Compact license required; license must be active (pending not accepted) — license required if applicable
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- 2 professional references required
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to contagious illnesses
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration
- The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
