Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and pediatric experience for a day shift travel assignment in a hospital NICU setting.

Details

• NICU unit within an academic hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• Floating is required
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in NICU
• NICU and pediatric experience required
• Missouri (MO) or Compact license required; license must be active (pending not accepted) — license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references required
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to contagious illnesses

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration
• The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
