Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma hospital, performing circulator duties across a range of surgical specialties on a Mon–Fri day shift schedule.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with Level III Trauma designation
• Operating Room unit with 4 ORs
• Surgical specialties include General, Orthopedic, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT cases
• Circulator role only — no scrub tech duties
• Standard patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Weekend and on-call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview
• No floating required
• Charting performed in Allscripts EMR

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS
• BSN is not required

• Circulator responsibilities across multiple surgical specialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT
• Blue scrubs are provided by the facility
• 24/7 in-house pharmacy available
• Orientation is held every Monday and consists of approximately 8 hours
• Extensions are frequently approved at this facility
