Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in an MRI Unit, working evening shifts.
Details
- MRI Unit in an acute care hospital setting
- 10-hour evening shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Current MRI Technologist license/certification (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- At least one supervisor-level reference required for consideration (charge nurse, manager, director, or above)
Additional Information
- A second supervisor-level reference will be required prior to start
- RTO requests on file include 5/11 and June 1–4

Multiple units were Travel RN friendly, predominantly excellent RN:Patient ratios (3-4:1 PCU, 4:1 CCU, 5:1 MS, etc) w/ a break nurse & flex nurse to assist when needed. Great teamwork, got every break, supportive leadership staff, overall excellent experience!
Cons
Sometimes got 4:1 PCU ratios which was rough but it wasn’t a weekly occurrence.
