Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in Radiography and CT for a 16-week acute care imaging assignment.
Details
- Acute care hospital imaging department setting
- 10-hour day shifts
- Charting performed in Epic EMR
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiography and 1 year of CT experience required
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT (R) and BLS required; ARRT (CT) required within 18 months of employment
- Proficiency with PACS and Epic EMR required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations as ordered by providers and directed by radiologists, including determining appropriate positioning and scan parameters
- Review images for clarity and accuracy to ensure exam readiness for radiologist interpretation
- Monitor console display to adjust density and contrast appropriately for each examination
- Ensure correct patient identification is applied to all images
- Pre-assignment modules must be completed before the start date
- Travelers with previous employment at this facility must disclose it for a do-not-use check
- COVID vaccination or a signed declination form is required; unvaccinated staff must wear masks while on site
