Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Las Cruces, NM, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active NM or Compact RN license.

Details

• Located in the Cardiac Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital setting
• The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• 199-bed hospital serving inpatient and outpatient populations with diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• AHA certifications required (specific certifications to be confirmed prior to start)
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere

Additional Information

• All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico are required to be fingerprinted before hire; documentation that the check is being processed must be provided
• Travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while fingerprint results are pending but must be supervised during that time
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
