Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position on a 7 Tower unit in Nashville, TN, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a TN or Compact RN license.
Details
- Located on the 7 Tower Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting in Nashville, TN
- 33-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required; scheduling is flexible with time-off requests
- Travelers take turns floating when needed
- 13-week contract
- Meditech EMR system
- Unit is staffed with charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit secretaries
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- General Med/Surg nursing care including standard bedside procedures
- White boards must be maintained and kept up to date for patient experience standards
- Approved scrub colors: navy blue, black, royal blue, or any shade of gray
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- First-time travelers are welcome and have had great experiences on this unit
- Team-oriented unit known for working well together
