Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a night shift ICU position in Roswell, NM, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience, ACLS, and a NM or compact RN license.

Details

• 16-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a hospital setting
• Mixed scope of practice covering ICU, Stepdown, and MS overflow patients
• ICU patient ratio of 1:2; Stepdown patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating to Stepdown and MS departments is required
• On-call is required, though rarely needed
• EMR: Cerner
• Scrubs: Royal Blue
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required
• US Social Security Number required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible
• At least one winter holiday is required to be worked
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week for the duration of the contract
