Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures, with Epic and Philips single-plane equipment experience required.
Details
- Cardiac cath lab setting covering invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular modalities
- Procedures include stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Epic EMR experience required
- Philips single-plane equipment experience required; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred
- 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekend requirement: once every fifth week
- On-call requirement: 5–8 shifts depending on staffing needs
- Holiday coverage required
- No float requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active BLS required
- Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT certification)
- Proficiency with stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Epic EMR experience required
- Philips single-plane equipment experience required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former permanent employees of any facility in this health system must have a separation of at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
