Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (Cardiac) position requiring cardiac drip experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a cardiac focus in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Cardiac drip experience required, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Shifts available as 36- or 48-hour weekly blocks; block scheduling is permitted
• Every other weekend (EOW) work is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license, currently in good standing
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Cardiac drip experience required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• COVID vaccination required (Religious or Medical exemptions accepted with documentation)
• Flu vaccination required (Religious or Medical exemptions accepted with documentation)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers will not be considered
• Compliance documentation must be completed no later than one week prior to the start date
• Orientation is 16 hours
