Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA-certified BLS.

Details

• Neuro Trauma ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift hours: 07:00–19:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Cerner OneChart

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas or a compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• A valid US Social Security Number and US home address are required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills) or MOAB De-Escalation training must be completed prior to start; the on-site managing physical confrontations portion is completed during orientation
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
