Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital cardiology services unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent echocardiography experience and active RDCS or CCI certification.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiology Services department performing echocardiography
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (schedule may vary)
- No on-call required
- Cerner EMR in use
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in echocardiography
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program; registered or registry eligible
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, RDCS (or equivalent CCI credential)
- Cerner experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Driver's License required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- First-time travelers may be considered, but candidates should be available to start within a short lead time
