Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a small, acute outpatient emergency department location in Union Gap, WA, with the ability to also perform X-ray.

Details

  • Radiology department within a small, acute outpatient emergency care setting with 10 beds
  • Emergency department patient population
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation required
  • On-call shifts may be required
  • Holiday coverage expected
  • No floating required
  • Epic EMR; PACS system also in use

Requirements

  • BLS required
  • ARDMS certification required; RVT may be required
  • Ability to perform X-ray in addition to ultrasound is required
  • License required if applicable
  • Minimum experience is variable; experienced travelers preferred
  • At least one supervisor-level reference (charge nurse, manager, or director) required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start

Additional Information

  • This is a new facility offering 24/7 coverage
  • Technologist will work mostly independently but with support available from staff at other locations
  • Orientation consists of a new employee orientation (NEO) plus 2–5 days of unit-specific orientation
  • First-time travelers will be considered, though experienced candidates are preferred
  • RTO requests are handled directly through the facility manager
  • Scrub color is variable
  • Free parking available on site
