Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of PACU experience and Epic proficiency in a hospital setting.
Details
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in an acute hospital setting
- Phase II recovery patient population
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- On-call required: Monday–Friday, 3–4 overnight shifts (11 PM–7 AM) per 6-week schedule
- Weekend on-call required: 2–12 hour shifts (day or night) per 6-week schedule
- Holiday on-call required: 1 twelve-hour holiday call shift
- No floating required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience, including Phase II recovery
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
