Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds
- X-Ray department; no unit floating required for this assignment
- 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled Friday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
- On-call required 3 shifts per month
- Block scheduling required
- Charting via Epic (required)
- No weekend requirement outside of the Friday–Monday schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Active and applicable state license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
- Scrubs of any color are accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
- No parking fee on site
