Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and OASIS experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Salinas, CA territory.
Details
- Home health setting serving the Salinas, CA territory
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 5 days per week
- 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day and a standard 30 productivity points
- Weekends may be required as needed
- EMR: Home Health MD
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
- OASIS experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Personal transportation is required, as travel to patient homes is expected
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Conduct in-home occupational therapy visits across the Salinas territory, with occasional travel up to 50+ miles
- Scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive and windshield time
- Timely communication and documentation are expected
- Documentation tools will be provided by the facility and must be returned at the end of the assignment
- Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate
- Business casual attire or scrubs are both acceptable
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
