Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and OASIS experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Salinas, CA territory.

Details

  • Home health setting serving the Salinas, CA territory
  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 5 days per week
  • 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day and a standard 30 productivity points
  • Weekends may be required as needed
  • EMR: Home Health MD
  • No on-call requirement

Requirements

  • Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
  • OASIS experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Personal transportation is required, as travel to patient homes is expected
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

  • Conduct in-home occupational therapy visits across the Salinas territory, with occasional travel up to 50+ miles
  • Scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive and windshield time
  • Timely communication and documentation are expected
  • Documentation tools will be provided by the facility and must be returned at the end of the assignment
  • Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate
  • Business casual attire or scrubs are both acceptable
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
  • All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
