Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position in Paris, TX, requiring 2+ years of experience and night shift availability on a 4x10 schedule.

Details

• Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional Unit in a 154-bed community hospital
• Level 3 Trauma Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center with Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capabilities
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM, four 10-hour shifts per week (Tuesday through Friday)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• AHA certifications required prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• The facility is the most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius, serving both Northeast TX and Southeast OK
• Paris, TX is located approximately 110 miles northeast of Dallas near the Texas-Oklahoma border, offering a low cost of living and a charming historic downtown
