Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care (Step-Down/IMC) night shift position in Evansville, IN, serving as the facility's dedicated Stroke Unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

- Stepdown Intermediate Care unit serving as the dedicated Stroke Unit
- 30-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Patient population includes medical, cardiac, GI, renal, DKA, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
- Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact state currently in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications required — both must be AHA-issued
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Full Social Security Number and a valid US home address required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required
- No minimum years of experience specified
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius (miles vary by state) may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
