Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a children's hospital in Oregon, requiring active OR licensure and at least one year of strong L&D experience.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a children's hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 7:00–19:30 (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- 10-week contract
- Charting system: Epic (training provided)
- Floating within the unit and across the health system is required — refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license or documented proof of OR state license application and fingerprints required
- Minimum 1 year of strong L&D specialty experience required; 2 years preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) certification preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for L&D nurses; any scrub color is acceptable except black or camouflage
- All assigned education modules must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
- Low census cancellations must be communicated no later than 1.5 hours before the start of a shift; up to one mandatory cancellation per two-week pay period may occur without penalty
- Candidates interested in extending beyond 10 weeks or adjusting weekly hours (36 vs. 48 hours) should indicate their preference
