Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of adult critical care or ER experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Work at a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses, serving outpatient, interventional radiology, ER, and inpatient populations
• Adult critical care and ER patient populations; NICU experience is a plus
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekend work is required
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic (required)
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in adult critical care or ER settings
• Active RRT license required if applicable
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• NRP preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• NICU experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrub color is open; reddish-orange scrubs are not permitted
• Parking is facility paid
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position; any requested time off should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
