Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB credentials for a 13-week travel assignment in Florida.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a Nuclear Medicine department
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Variable day shifts, 5x8 hours, with hours ranging from 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Weekend requirement depends on block schedule
- May be required to float to all 4 facility locations
- Epic EMR used for documentation
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Active Florida state license or compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- ARRT(N) certification required; CNMT and NMTCB preferred
- Current BLS required
- 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the past year required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31; medical and religious exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers; no radius restriction applies
- All RTO requests must be finalized and submitted at time of consideration — no RTO will be accepted after an offer is made
- Former employees or contracted travelers must wait a minimum of 1 year after leaving an internal contracted position before being eligible
- Scrubs are provided; solid color scrubs are also acceptable — tops and bottoms must match in color with no logos or prints
- Time is tracked via Kronos using a badge swipe system
- Free parking is available with a decal provided at orientation
