Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Outpatient OT position at a 171-bed acute care hospital and Level 3 Trauma Center
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Required to float between outpatient and inpatient settings as needed to meet facility demands
- Potential for on-call coverage one weekend per month
- Charting performed in Epic
- Free on-site parking available
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OT state license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient OT experience required; acute care experience preferred
- Epic experience required, preferably used in Oklahoma and within the past year
- Current, relevant certifications required
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers will not be considered; a minimum of two successful travel assignments with no performance or attendance issues is required
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the 13-week assignment; no additional RTO requests will be considered after the time of submission or while on contract
- Holiday RTO is not approved the day before, the day of, or the day after any holiday
- The facility maintains a zero-fault attendance policy; any missed scheduled shift—regardless of reason—is counted as unexcused. Two missed shifts result in a warning, and three or more may result in contract cancellation
- No blocked or special scheduling requests will be accommodated
- No background hits are allowed
- Scrub color varies by unit
- All assigned compliance modules must be completed prior to the start date
- Candidates must be prepared to complete lab compliance requirements within 48–72 hours of signing
