Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU travel position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, with on-call responsibilities and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- PACU unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 0800–2030
- Bi-weekly rotating schedule: Week 1 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- On-call required approximately 7–8 shifts per month
- Weeknight call hours: 2300–0800; weekend call is 24 hours
- Epic EMR experience required
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months before being eligible for a travel position
- Former permanent staff must also reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
