Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, TNCC certification, and a WV or compact RN license.

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Shift is mid-shift, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (3x12s)
• Schedule includes weekdays, some weekends, and holidays
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed, though the unit will attempt to group shifts when possible
• Charting system is AllScripts/McKesson

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required; candidates with a pending license will be considered
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Flu vaccine is required; medical exemptions will be considered with a signed physician's note and completion of the facility's medical exemption request form
• Religious exemptions for the flu vaccine are not accepted
