Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position within an academic medical center
• Nurses float across multiple ICU units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Patients require IV access, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic required
• IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across a variety of ICU specialties within a large academic medical center
• No break in assignment required when changing representation between assignments
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
