Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position at a Level 1 trauma center in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical ICU (Critical Care Unit) in a hospital setting
- Level 1 trauma center, stroke center of excellence, burn center, ELSO certified center, and transplant center
- Standard patient ratio of 2:1
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage based on unit need
- Charting system: Sunrise
Requirements
- Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Nursys license verification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care RN experience
- Full Social Security Number and U.S. home address required
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required
- Copies of all certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration
Additional Information
- 13-week assignment
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- Candidates may only be submitted to one Ascension position system-wide
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
