Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position at a Level 1 trauma center in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical ICU (Critical Care Unit) in a hospital setting
• Level 1 trauma center, stroke center of excellence, burn center, ELSO certified center, and transplant center
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage based on unit need
• Charting system: Sunrise

Requirements

• Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Nursys license verification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care RN experience
• Full Social Security Number and U.S. home address required
• Two professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required
• Copies of all certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week assignment
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Candidates may only be submitted to one Ascension position system-wide
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
