Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring Open Heart ICU experience and proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices.

• CVICU unit within a 521-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Patient population includes post-open heart surgery recovery and critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Experience with Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, Impella, and hemodynamic monitoring required for this role
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Floating required within scope to all three system hospitals (Martin North, South, and Tradition — within 20 miles)
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1–2 years of Open Heart ICU experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Experience with Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, Impella, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Time-sensitive facility onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon assignment confirmation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests added after submission will likely not be approved
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
