Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring an active CA RN license, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN certification.
Details
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
- Primary assignment involves caring for laboring patients, with potential need to circulate in C-section cases
- Triage responsibilities are not required for travel nurses in this role
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN (certification must have been issued within the past 2 years)
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Supported by an in-house anesthesia team, mentor group, resource nurses, break nurses, and a lactation team
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
