Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Special Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring telemetry experience and ACLS certification.
Details
- Special Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes telemetry, isolation/COVID, and overflow cases
- 12-hour day shifts (AM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Telemetry experience required
- Must score 85% or greater on a Basic Arrhythmia exam
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration
- SSN required for consideration
- Must permanently reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Provides care to telemetry, isolation/COVID, and medical overflow patients in a progressive care setting
- No on-call requirements
