Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with pediatric experience for a 13-week assignment at a leading children's hospital, working day shifts on inpatient and outpatient cases ranging from neonates to young adults.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting serving inpatient and outpatient patients from neonate to 26 years of age
- Imaging includes Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, SPECT, and both sedated and non-sedated cases
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, Bayer Injectors, Invivo Monitoring, and GE PACS
- EMR: Epic
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- No call required
- Weekend coverage possible (approximately 1 weekend shift per contract)
- Floating to different units may be required based on facility need
Requirements
- Pediatric MRI experience required
- Current ARRT certification and applicable state license required if applicable
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references required for consideration (charge nurse references count as only 1 of the 2)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked permanently at this facility must have a gap of at least 2 years before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
