Description
American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) with at least 2 years of recent vascular ultrasound experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital.
Details
- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 licensed beds
- Vascular ultrasound unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or 4x10-hour night shifts from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- On-call required — 4 nights of call coverage needed
- Weekends are not required
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- No unit-specific floating; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent vascular ultrasound experience required
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
- State license required if applicable (OBMI)
- BLS required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Must be willing and able to float between facilities within the state as needed
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
- Parking is available at no cost
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB are required for consideration
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact eligibility
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront — post-offer changes may be denied
