Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a travel contract in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
Details
- NICU setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include comprehensive neonatal patient assessment, individualized care planning, medication and treatment administration, and family education and discharge planning
- Serves as a liaison between nursing and medical staff to facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
