Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float position requiring a minimum of two years of ICU experience and active CA RN and AHA certifications.

Details

• 36-hour work week on day shift
• Primary placement in the ICU with potential floating to the ER

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior hits required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; minimum 3 years required if also being considered for ER coverage
• Recent experience in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all AHA-issued)
• CCRN certification encouraged
• 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• ICU and ER experience preferred given the potential for floating between units
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for this position
• All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained on clinical work history
