Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg PCU night shift position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active WA RN license.

Details

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• Combined Med/Surg and PCU unit covering telemetry patients
• Flexibility to float to other departments as needed
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact license with WA privileges required
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Experience in Med/Surg, PCU, and telemetry required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient and family education, safety monitoring, infection control, and accurate documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
• Performs 24-hour order checks, reports critical lab values to physicians, and restocks emergency carts and supplies
• Provides complete and accurate shift-change reports and interdepartmental communication
• Must be familiar with safe operation and basic troubleshooting of PCU, telemetry, and Med/Surg equipment
• Quick start position — candidates should be prepared to begin promptly
