Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel position at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington state.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting — 629-bed Level II Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and teaching hospital
• Responsibilities span multiple units, including floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• Patient ratios depend on acuity
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic (required)
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active RRT credential required
• Washington state RRT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO should be minimal; any requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Scrubs: any color permitted for RRT staff
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
