Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a day shift position requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience across inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings.
Details
- Inpatient, outpatient, and ER work settings within an MRI unit
- Adolescent to geriatric patient population
- Single MRI room
- Uses Epic, Pyxis, and GE equipment; PACS experience required
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Call requirement: 1 call week every 5th week in rotation, shared with a main campus
- May float to a main campus location as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
- Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
- PACS and contrast administration skills required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted based on experience level
- Local candidates are accepted
- Caribbean blue scrubs required
- RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period per the facility's holiday coverage policy
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility system must have been away for a minimum of 1 full year from all system facilities before returning as a traveler
- Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
- No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted; the listed shift is firm
