Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a day shift position requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience across inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings.

Details

• Inpatient, outpatient, and ER work settings within an MRI unit
• Adolescent to geriatric patient population
• Single MRI room
• Uses Epic, Pyxis, and GE equipment; PACS experience required
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirement: 1 call week every 5th week in rotation, shared with a main campus
• May float to a main campus location as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
• PACS and contrast administration skills required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted based on experience level
• Local candidates are accepted
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period per the facility's holiday coverage policy
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility system must have been away for a minimum of 1 full year from all system facilities before returning as a traveler
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
• No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted; the listed shift is firm
