Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift position in a neuro diagnostics and respiratory therapy unit, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- 13-week travel contract
- Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Rotating weekend requirement: every other or every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- No on-call requirement
- Epic EMR experience required
- NICU experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NRP preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in adult critical care, ED, patient transport, direct intubation/extubation, nasal airway placement and suctioning, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, ventilator management, aerosol mask, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary function testing
- Experience with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia management
- Neonatal/pediatric equipment and procedures experience preferred but not required
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
