Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency in an advanced invasive cardiology setting.
Details
- Work in a dedicated Invasive Cardiology unit featuring 4 Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 2 Electrophysiology labs, and 23 prep/recovery bays
- Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- On-call requirements are minimal, primarily to support full-time staff as needed
- Epic EMR experience required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Candidates will undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess clinical fit before being forwarded to the manager for a final decision; a manager interview is required
- Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for at the end of each shift
- Time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed per contract
- May be required to care for COVID-positive patients
- This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility

Sometimes the schedule can be confusing with rotating shifts and call schedules that don’t align well with your scheduled shifts. But again if there is a major concern they’ll try and work with you on it!
