Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment with on-call requirements and rotating weekend call coverage.
Details
- Radiology/Ultrasound department in an acute care hospital setting
- Cardiovascular ultrasound focus
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with Wednesdays off
- Rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- May be required to float to affiliated hospital campuses in the surrounding area
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required
- Active NH or compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Valid driver's license required
- Up-to-date resume reflecting 2+ years of relevant experience
- Completed skills checklist matching the sonography specialty
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation provided upon start
- 3 professional references required upon commitment, with 2 from leadership (manager or charge-level)
- Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a local pay rate
- RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed prior to consideration
