Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a NM or Compact RN license and TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Care Center (ECC) department within a regional medical center
• Night shift schedule: 7PM–7AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or Compact state RN license
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Current TNCC certification required
• Current CPI certification or equivalent required (Blue Card preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care, modifying as needed based on patient outcomes
• Performs Point of Care testing procedures
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications must be current and active — expired certifications will result in disqualification
