Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a NM or Compact RN license and TNCC certification.
Details
- Emergency Care Center (ECC) department within a regional medical center
- Night shift schedule: 7PM–7AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NM RN license or Compact state RN license
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Current TNCC certification required
- Current CPI certification or equivalent required (Blue Card preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care, modifying as needed based on patient outcomes
- Performs Point of Care testing procedures
- Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications must be current and active — expired certifications will result in disqualification
