Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a 13-week OR assignment in Beckley, WV, requiring 2+ years of surgical circulating experience across multiple specialties including da Vinci Robotic Surgery.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 7 OR suites
- Serves a patient population of all ages
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Specialties include General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Call requirements: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, with potential for every-other-weekend coverage
- Interdepartmental floating required on an as-needed basis
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2+ years of OR circulating experience
- Hands-on circulating experience in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery specialties
- Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
Additional Information
- Role is RN Circulator within a Level III Trauma facility
- Hospital is Joint Commission accredited and offers a wide range of surgical services
- Scrubs are provided by the facility; casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted
- Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for this position
