Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Special Procedures IR unit at a Level II Trauma center in Plano, TX, requiring 2-5 years of Neuro IR and stroke experience.

Details

  • Special Procedures IR unit at a Level II Trauma Center in Plano, TX
  • Comprehensive stroke designation facility with Neuro IR, General IR, and Vascular cases
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a rotating day off each week
  • On-call coverage required for General IR, Neuro, and Vascular — approximately 12-14 call days per month
  • 30-minute response time to the hospital required for on-call emergencies
  • Call expectations will be discussed and agreed upon with the clinician prior to final confirmation

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Neuro IR experience required
  • Stroke experience required — facility holds a Comprehensive Stroke designation
  • Current BLS and ARRT certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Two completed supervisor/manager references required for consideration
  • Skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration
  • Certification verification (e.g., Rad Tech) from within the last 30 days required for consideration
  • State Primary Source Verification from within the last 30 days required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform interventional procedures across General IR, Neuro IR, and Vascular specialties
  • Local candidates are accepted for this position — the 100-mile radius rule does not apply to Allied positions
