Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Interventional Radiology position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Springfield, IL, with rotating day shifts and a minimum of 1 year of IR experience required.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a 562-bed, Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Rotating schedule of 5x8-hour and 4x10-hour day shifts
• Day shift hours: 8:00–16:30 (8-hour) and 7:00–17:30 (10-hour)
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Floating within scope is required of all travelers, including potential float to a nearby affiliate hospital
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications required; AHA and Red Cross cards accepted, RQI AHA cards are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius requirement
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval
• Scrubs may be any solid color
• On-site parking is available at no cost; a permit is required and will be arranged during orientation
