Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Interventional Radiology position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Springfield, IL, with rotating day shifts and a minimum of 1 year of IR experience required.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a 562-bed, Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Rotating schedule of 5x8-hour and 4x10-hour day shifts
- Day shift hours: 8:00–16:30 (8-hour) and 7:00–17:30 (10-hour)
- Charting is performed in Cerner
- Floating within scope is required of all travelers, including potential float to a nearby affiliate hospital
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
- Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications required; AHA and Red Cross cards accepted, RQI AHA cards are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted with no radius requirement
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travel pairs are not accepted
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- RTO requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval
- Scrubs may be any solid color
- On-site parking is available at no cost; a permit is required and will be arranged during orientation
