Description
American Traveler is hiring a first-time traveler eligible RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center in Oregon, requiring NRP certification and a minimum of 1 year LDRP experience.
Details
- Work setting is a 25-bed Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Assignment is in the Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards: 1:1 for active labor, 1:3 for postpartum
- Primary schedule is day shifts (7:00–19:00), with potential coverage of night shifts (19:00–7:00) as needed
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating between units within the facility and across other facilities in Oregon is expected based on skill set and unit needs
- Epic EMR is used; experience is required
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable; scrubs are provided for Maternal Child unit staff
- No parking fee at this facility
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
- Minimum 1 year LDRP experience required; 2 years preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- A valid driver's license and SSN required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Active RN license at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Oregon; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Floating may include facilities in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; requests should be addressed prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
