Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient/outpatient rehab position at a Level IV acute care hospital, working Monday through Friday with no weekends required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility
- Covers both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00–17:00 (5x8 schedule); no weekends required
- Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling is available
- Charting is done in Cerner
- Free parking available on-site
- Free housing available
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active MT state license or compact license required; pending licenses are not accepted — note that MT state licensure takes approximately 8 weeks to obtain if no compact or state license is held
- License required if applicable
- Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings required
Additional Information
- Level IV trauma designation
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; no radius rule in effect
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment due to orientation; RTO is limited to one week total for the duration of the contract
- Scrub color is open; refer to facility dress code policy for full details
- 13-week contract
