Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient (with inpatient float) position at a Level IV acute care hospital in Glendive, MT.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 25 staffed beds, 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility
- Unit: Physical Therapy - Outpatient, with potential to float inpatient within scope to meet facility needs
- Level IV trauma designation
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; no weekends or on-call required
- Block scheduling accommodated
- Charting via Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- MT state license or compact license required; pending licenses not accepted (note: MT state license takes approximately 8 weeks to obtain if no compact or state license is held)
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
Additional Information
- No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment due to orientation; RTO is limited to one week total for the contract
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted; no radius rule applies
