Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation assignment at a specialty hospital in the Pine Bluff, AR area.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) setting on a 40-bed unit, including a 12-bed TBI unit
• Adult patient population (18+) with diagnoses including CVA, BKA/AKA, hip and knee fractures/replacements, brain injury, spinal cord injury, debility, and cardiac conditions
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Day shift, Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) required based on census and patient needs
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Specialized equipment includes Vectra Bioness Gait Training System, Bionik Arm, Synaptic, Lite Gait, Saebo, and Exoskeleton (coming soon)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred prior to applying
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active licensure verification required for consideration

• Provide occupational therapy services to adult patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting

• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Located approximately 30 minutes from Little Rock and one hour from Hot Springs
