Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington state.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 629 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Teaching hospital environment
- Responsibilities span floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
- Patient ratios depend on patient acuity
- Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling required
- Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Epic EMR experience required
- No on-call required
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Washington state RRT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrub color: any color permitted for RRT staff
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be identified prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
