Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a MA RN license, with night shift scheduling and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

• 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit in an inpatient hospital setting
• Rooming-in model where all infants stay with mothers; newborn nursery available for infants requiring additional care
• Patient population includes neonates and adults
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Omnicell medication dispensing system used
• SBAR communication protocol in use

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginners Fetal Monitoring
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
